Diamant" stands for: Scientific and Technical Research center for Diamond. It was
founded in 1977 to give scientific and technological assistance to the
diamond gemstone industry in Belgium.
Our mission is to be entirely at the service of the diamond trade and industry, supporting their drive to maintain and improve their competitive position by keeping abreast of new technologies. WTOCD offers assistance in the development, selection, implementation and optimal use of new technologies to improve manufacturing processes resulting in top quality products.
Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) is the coordinating body and official representative of the diamond sector. It’s an official organization, recognized internationally and acting as host, spokesperson and intermediary for the Belgian diamond community.
