Identification of Chameleon diamonds
Purpose
This desktop viewer enables users to identify potential chameleon diamonds
by safely and efficiently observing their characteristic fluorescence and phosphorescence.Description
In an issue of Antwerp Facets Magazine (April 2007), the properties of Chameleon type diamonds
were discussed. As a consequence of this publication, the sector showed a need for an instrument
to screen for Chameleon type stones. Therefore WTOCD, in collaboration with HRD Research,
has developed “C-Fluo”. This viewer allows selecting potential Chameleon type diamonds by observing
efficiently their characteristic fluorescence and phosphorescence in a safe way.Contact
